purple, blue, violet .... rarely put flower into context of blue, but these bluebells are incredible.

Mother's Day

Today is the Mothering Sunday in the UK, the date is different from American and some Asian countries which is usually on the 2nd Sunday of May. Florists, markets and shops are busy! We all love your mum! ;)

sunflower

Can't believe it's August already, I always associate August with sunny day .. also the happy sunflower =) I happened to walked by this sunflower 'bed', not very often to see sunflower this size, I was happy =)

Yellow

This is what I tried on closed-up techniques experiments, one of my favorite objects is flower, though they don't often show the 'wow' factor. Personally, I prefer yellow flower, it could be the contrast between the yellow and the background (sky, blue in this case). Having said so why the other contrast pair - red and green doesn't stand out? For instance the Red rose with green meadow. I still prefer YELL-O-W!
