Xmas Tree
I have not been able to put up pictures for the past 2 days, therefore I am going to post 3 pictures today. This weekend's pictures are about the ultimate Christmas decorations 'symbol' (I think). It is a must for Christmas, and I think about 90% of the households whose celebrating Christmas has one of them - it's the Christmas Tree.

poppy
Another big event in November.... nah nah nah not thanksgiving like in the States..
It's poppy's day, the official name is Remembrance day.
Remembrance Day is on 11 November. It is a special day set aside to remember all those men and women who were killed during the two World Wars and other conflicts. At one time the day was known as Armistice Day and was renamed Remembrance Day after the Second World War.
Went for stroll at the weekend and still found some poppy's 'decorations'. Good that people are still not only thinking of Christmas! heheh.

This sounds like the joy for kids - merry-go-round.
You can always hear the joy, fun, happy noise when there is a merry go round near you.
I have never been on one. I am sure it is a great experience. Wouldn't mind try that one day... hmmmm one day? which day?
I think most of the Christmas lights are nearly up now. Feeling festivity and merry .....

Fireworks
A little bit of history here.
What does November mean do you? shorter daylight? Colder weather? Wet? Remembrance Day? For me it has got to be Guy Fawkes Night.
Guy Fawkes Night is an annual celebration on the evening of 5 November. It marks the downfall of the Gunpowder Plot of 5 November 1605, in which a number of Catholic conspirators, including Guy Fawkes, attempted to destroy the Houses of Parliament, in London, capital of England.
In the United Kingdom, celebrations take place in towns and villages across the country in the form of both private and civic events. They involve fireworks displays and the building of bonfires on which traditionally "guys" are burnt.
This picture was taken in a friend's "Bon Fire party" on 7th Nov. Not the conventional fountain-typed pattern, it has got the scatted stars effects.

London Eye
The world's largest observation wheel, the British Airways London Eye, Millennium Jubilee Gardens, opened in 2000. It is the fourth-tallest structure in London, offering panoramic views that extend for some 40km (25 miles) if the weather's clear. Passengers are carried in 32 "pods" that make a complete revolution every half-hour. Along the way you'll see some of London's most famous landmarks from a bird's-eye view.

Trafalgar Sqaure
I am so please about this picture. Trafalgar sqaure, one of London's most visited landmark, also one of the popular tourist spots. Trafalgar Square is also one of London’s busiest and best known outdoor public spaces and is used for many public gatherings such as the New Year celebrations and political rallies.

Halloween
It is the time of the year again, oh yeah custome time, time to get your tick-or-treating gear ready. A Halloween in London was certainly a new thing for me. Maybe it falls on Saturday, so excuses for fancy dress party, fun fun fun. The classic one would be the deveil, the angel, the zombie, the sexy witch.....

Dandelion
- Rub a dandelion bloom under your chin- the more yellow you get, the richer ou'll be.
- If you see seeds falling off the seed head when there's no wind, there's rain on the way.
- Blow on a seed head and the number of seeds left will tell you how many children you will have!
- If you rub yourself all over with dandelion flowers, you will be welcome everywhere you go and your wishes will be granted.
- If you blow hard on a seed head and all the seeds blow off, a wish will come true!

Yellow
This is what I tried on closed-up techniques experiments, one of my favorite objects is flower, though they don't often show the 'wow' factor. Personally, I prefer yellow flower, it could be the contrast between the yellow and the background (sky, blue in this case). Having said so why the other contrast pair - red and green doesn't stand out? For instance the Red rose with green meadow. I still prefer YELL-O-W!
